Founder of The Law Office of Annette Newman, LLC

  • Attorney Annette Newman founded the Law Office of Annette Newman in 2010.  She is a Christian, mother of three daughters, grandmother of seven, and a great-grandmother.  Annette grew up in Buffalo, NY and has experienced first-hand what it feels like to be discriminated against and hated because of her race, skin color and sex.  She is a lawyer and civil rights activist who is passionate about fighting for civil rights, human rights and equal justice for everyone, regardless of their race, skin color, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion, or income level.


  • Annette is a veteran, honorably discharged after serving eight years active duty in the U.S. Army and one year in the U.S. Army Reserves.  


  • She earned a JD Degree fron Stetson University College of Law, an MBA Degree specializing in Human Resources, and a Bachelors Degree majoring in Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University, an Associates in Applied Management Degree from Central Texas College, an Associates in Science Degree in Accounting and Associates in Science Degree in Business Administration from Monterey Peninsula College graduating with honors.


  •  Her work experience includes  Human Resources Generalist and District Manager for a combined total of 17 years for an international retail business; nine years in federal civil service positions, including the US Marshal, Veterans Administration and U.S. Bankruptcy Court.  


  • Annette is a Florida Supreme Court Circuit Civil Mediator and Certified Federal EEO Investigator. 

  

  • She has been practicing law since 2010 and is dedicated to helping her clients with their legal needs.

Davina Johnson

  • Davina Johnson, Senior EEO Investigator.  


  • Davina is a mother of three children, two boys a girl.  She is a veteran who served active duty in the U.S Navy and was honorably discharged.


  • Davina has an extensive background in human resources and employment law related fields, including Human Resources Consultant, Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Generalist, Recruiter and Certified Federal EEO Investigator.


  • Davina earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management from Strayer University and a Masters In Employment Law Degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law School, graduating with honors.


  • Davina has been in the Human Resources field since 1999, investigating EEO claims in the private sector since 2010 and the government sector since 2015.
