Attorney Newman was Certified as a Federal EEO investigator in 2010 . She conducts investigations for federal agencies throughout the U.S. and understands the importance of thorough, unbiased and timely investigations that meet the quality standards of Federal Agencies.
The firm hires only experienced investigators who are fully certified, have years of experience conducting investigations for federal agencies or equivalent experience in Human Resources or employment law related fields.
Our Investigation Process
We assist employers by investigating discrimination, EEO, administrative, harassment and/or misconduct complaints before they elevate to full-blown civil lawsuits.
Our investigation process includes the following:
1. Preparation of an investigative plan which includes a road map explaining how we will conduct the investigation within your required deadlines; a model analysis of the prima facie elements required to prove the allegations by the Complainant and the questions we intend to ask all parties involved in the employment law dispute.
2. Assembly of the documents, evidence and exhibits required to support or negate the allegations. We work with your appointed Subject Matter Experts or Human Resources point of contact(s) to obtain the evidence needed, assemble the documents and ensure all personal protected information is redacted.
3. Interviews will begin as soon the IP has been approved. The assigned investigator will interview the Complainant, the accused employee(s), responsible management officials, and all witnesses with first-hand knowledge of the facts.
4. Preparation of the Report of Investigation (ROI). After all parties involved in the dispute and any required witnesses are interviewed, we will collect their sworn affidavits and evidence and draft a ROI that meets your quality standards.
